A no-kill sanctuary for rescued cats and kittens in New Port Richey, Florida
Food For Thought
What does generosity look like? Here are the results of our recent Half Price Cat Food fundraising campaign...$3,400 worth of food for the discounted price of $1,700. Thank you, Nutro, and our generous supporters for keeping our cats fed for the next five months!
Discount Food Drive
Great news! The Little Cats' Rescue has been offered a fantastic discount by our food distributor. Instead of the usual $32 per bag, they'll let us buy up to 144 bags for only $14 each. That's less than half price, which means we can stretch our limited funds more than twice as far!! The only problem is that we don't have the funds to purchase that many bags right away before the discount expires.
Please help us take full advantage of this great offer by donating to our Half Price Food Drive. Your generous donation will go twice as far and have more than double the purchasing power! But we have to act quickly. This cat food discount will expire soon.
You can mail a tax-deductible donation check to: The Little Cats' Rescue, P.O. Box 1559, Elfers, FL 34680.
If you prefer to use a credit card, you can donate to TLC quickly, easily, and securely with PayPal. Click here to access our PayPal Donation page.
The cats thank you for your generous support!!!

Trailer Park Tribulations
Poor little Shadow, Victoria, and Rusty were found abandoned in a condemned trailer park on Route 19 in Port Richey...starving, thirsty, and afraid. The place was very unsafe and was apparently full of abandoned and neglected cats. Someone even spray-painted a desperate plea for help on a plywood sign alongside one of the empty trailers.
We first discovered a timid young female cat hiding underneath one of the abandoned homes. It took a little time and patience to coax her out, but once she emerged from the shadows, we could see what a sweet and friendly little girl she truly is. Naturally, we named her Shadow!
Another little girl, a beautiful tortie/calico was close behind Shadow, underneath the same trailer, and she now goes by the name Victoria. They were a little shy and scared at first, but they quickly realized we were there to give them food and water, and rescue them from this miserable place. The girls appear to be the same age, and it's possible that they are sisters, but we're not sure.
Next, we found a little orange tabby boy, who we named Rusty, living near another abandoned trailer. He too was very hungry and weak, but he came running right up to his rescuers as if to tell us he needed to get out of that place as quickly as possible!
Today, all three cats are healthy, safe, and learning to play and trust. They're going to make wonderful pets and will be forever grateful to be in a loving adoptive home, knowing that they overcame such adversity early on in life.
If you would like to meet Shadow, Victoria, and Rusty in purr-son, and hopefully give one or more of them that safe and loving adoptive home, please call or e-mail our TLC Sanctuary to schedule a time to visit, or to find out when we'll be bringing them to one of our weekend adoption events.
Our phone number is (727) 359-9629 and our e-mail address is LittleCatsRescue@aol.com

Mama's Boy
Marleigh was a baby having babies. She was only about 9 months old when she gave birth to a litter of kittens, including Fernando who is a real mama's boy and never leaves Marleigh's side. We hope this devoted pair will be adopted together, since they are so bonded to one another.
Marleigh loves to groom her little boy and always keeps a watchful eye on him while he plays with the other kittens. Then at the end of the day after playtime and bathtime are over, she tucks him into bed, gives him a kiss, and the two of them snuggle next to each other for cat nap time. They're so adorable together!
Do you have room in your family for this beautiful and affectionate little feline family?

Putting the PURR in Perceval
Velcro
This is Velcro, a handsome and gentle two-year-old Blue Point Siamese mix. When RaeAnna found him on death row at county animal control, he had just hours to live. As soon as she opened his cage, he jumped right into her arms and clung to her...like Velcro! He's as sweet as can be and loves to be scruffled on his head. He gets along well with other cats.

Astro-logy
Astro is a very energetic young fellow who loves to run and play. He is also a very talkative and purry little boy who would love nothing more than to be your constant companion for years to come. Please e-mail us at LittleCatsRescue@aol.com or call (727) 807-7260 if you would like to schedule a visit to our TLC Sanctuary and meet this handsome boy in purr-son.
A Girl For All Seasons
Summer is such a sweet and playful little girl. She was "with child" when she was rescued. Summer is very friendly and instantly starts purring whenever anyone approaches her. She'll make a wonderful addition to any family, and spread cheer and sunshine all year long, no matter what the season!
UPDATE...Summer has been adopted!!!
Formal Family
Mystery was an abandoned single mom when she was rescued along with her two young offspring. She did a great job raising her babies, and now it's her turn to be pampered and cared for by a loving new owner.
Hunter and Scout are active and affectionate little guys, and Mystery is a wonderful young lady. Despite their formal attire, this friendly family is very easygoing and laid back, and any (or all!) of them would make a great addition to your family.
When Irish Eyes Are Smiling
These ginger gentlemen are celebrating their favorite holiday, St. Patrick's Day, when redheads rule! Forget four-leaf clovers...these little leprechauns prefer catnip instead. If you love cuddly orange kitties, we've got some of the friendliest ones you could ever meet...and that's no blarney! They're all waiting for new homes at our TLC sanctuary. Call 727-807-7260 today to schedule an appointment to visit them and all of their friends.
Good Things Come In Small Packages
Several weeks ago, we rescued a family of kittens abandoned in a cardboard box that was left in a parking lot. Well, it's true what they say...good things come in small packages. Today, all four kittens are healthy, active, and very loving. The only thing each one needs now is a loving family to bring one or more of them home.
The siblings consist of Kate, a pretty little tortie girl; Emma, her sweet tabby sister; Morgan, their handsome Bengal mix brother; and Quincy, another Bengal mix male who has a 3/4 bobtail. Each one is so playful and purry, and it would be great if they could be adopted at least in pairs so that they'll always have a companion and playmate to grow up with.
Going to the Dogs
Every once in a while, a deserving dog crosses paths with The Little Cats' Rescue! Tyson is a wonderful pit mix pup. His mother is a gorgeous and gentle American Staffordshire Terrier. Tyson was rescued at 6 weeks old with 11 siblings as their mom was herding them across a very busy street. Tyson is now 9 months old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is very smart, affectionate, and eager to please. And he loves to give kisses! He is rather energetic, so he needs a large, securely fenced-in area to run, and a family with no small animals or children, please. If you would like to meet or learn more about Tyson, please call 727-807-7260 or email LittleCatsRescue@aol.com.
Little Lou Lou
Lou Lou is such a sweet, gentle young lady. She is very affectionate and enjoys sitting in your lap and being petted. She also likes to gives kisses! You won't find a more loving kitty companion than little Lou Lou! Please stop by our adoption center located in the Trinity Petsmart to meet Lou Lou and all our other friendly felines.
Pretty Poppy
This sweet, young tiger is a joy to behold...and be held! She will curl up in your arms or on your lap and respond to your cuddles with gentle purring. Poppy was rounded up by a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) team, but she is not feral--quite the opposite. Poppy has a "tipped" left ear--a universal symbol of free-roaming cats to show that they have been spayed or neutered and vaccinated. She loves to reach out for you as you walk by...and will follow you wherever you go! Poppy also has the most beautiful big green eyes we've ever seen! Come see her for yourself this week at our Petsmart adoption center.
